This work includes: site preparation, construction fencing, temporary soil erosion sediment control measures, site removals and clearing, earthwork, excavation, and grading, stormwater utilities, electrical service utilities and lighting, cast-in-place concrete foundations and footings, open-air shelter, playground & adven-ture course equipment on engineered wood fiber surfacing, site furnishings, as-phalt paving (pedestrian and vehicular), concrete paving, bean bag toss, trees, shrubs, low plant material, and native and turf seeding.

Sealed bids for: Meadowlark Park Development Project will be received by the Palatine Park District, 148 W. Illinois Ave., Palatine, Illinois 60067 until Friday March 15, 2024, at 11:00am at which time and place, all Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the stated time shall be disqualified and returned unopened.

The Palatine Park District encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder utilizes minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.

This project is being financed, in part, with funds from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, “Open Space Land Acquisition & Development” (OSLAD) grant program. Work must comply with grant requirements.
