The Lisle Park District does hereby invite sealed bids for Community Park Shelter and Trail. Work will include site clearing, earthwork operations, water service adjustments, storm and sanitary sewerage adjustments, asphalt paving, concrete curbs, walks and paving, site furnishings, planting and seeding, stone masonry, architectural construction, and lighting installation.

Project manuals, including bid form and specifications, and construction documents are available after 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from Accurate Reprographics, 2368 Corporate Lane, Suite 100, Naperville, Illinois 60560, (630) 428-4433 and www.hitchcockplanroom.com. Bidding documents are available at the non-refundable cost of reproduction.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the existing shelter at the project site. The Park District requests bidders park in the parking lot near the boat launch south of Short Street. The meeting is not mandatory, but bidders are encouraged to attend.

Bids will be accepted at the Lisle Park District 1925 Ohio Street, Lisle, Illinois 60532, during regular office hours. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the Contractor’s name and address, and “Bid for Community Park Shelter and Trail,” on the face of the envelope. Bids must be received no later than 10:00 AM on Monday, December 8, 2025. Bids will be opened on Monday, December 8, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lisle Park District 1925 Ohio Street, Lisle, Illinois 60532. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier’s Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Lisle Park District.

The successful bidder, as determined by the Lisle Park District, shall be required to pay, and to agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) for the locality of the Lisle Park District, (DuPage County), to each laborer worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The successful contractor, and all subcontractors shall be required to submit, to the Lisle Park District, certified payrolls no later than the tenth day of each calendar month for the immediately preceding month.

The Lisle Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Lisle Park District. The Lisle Park District encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
