Freedom Park Renovation

The Alsip Park District does hereby invite sealed bids for Freedom Park Renovation. Work will include site clearing, earthwork operations, drainage, plumbing, asphalt paving, color coating, concrete curbs, walks and paving, playground equipment installation, chain link fencing, shade canopy installation, planting, turf seeding and native seeding.

Project manuals, including bid form and specifications, and construction documents are available after 10:00 AM on September 17, 2025 from Accurate Reprographics, 2368 Corporate Lane, Suite 100, Naperville, Illinois 60560, (630) 428-4433, www.hitchcockplanroom.com. Bidding documents are available at the non-refundable cost of reproduction.

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2025 at 10AM at the existing shelter at the project site. This meeting is not mandatory, but bidders are encouraged to attend. Bids will be accepted at the Alsip Park District, 12521 S Kostner Avenue, Alsip, Illinois 60803, during regular office hours. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the Contractor’s name and address, and “Bid for Freedom Park Renovation,” on the face of the envelope. Bids must be received no later than 10:00 AM on October 1, 2025. Bids will be opened at 10:00 AM on October 1, 2025 at the Alsip Park District 12521 S Kostner Avenue, Alsip, Illinois 60803. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier’s Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Alsip Park District.

The Alsip Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Alsip Park District. The Alsip Park District encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
