Osage Park
The Wauconda Park District does hereby invite sealed bids for Osage Park. Work will include site
preparation, temporary soil erosion and sediment control measures, site clearing, earthwork, storm
utilities, asphalt mill and resurface, color coating and striping, concrete paving, curbs and footings, chain
link fencing and gates, sport court equipment installation, fitness equipment installation, poured-in-place
rubber surfacing, landscape planting, and turf grass seeding.
Project manuals, including bid form and specifications, and construction documents are available after
10:00 A.M. on February 6, 2024 from Accurate Reprographics 2368 Corporate Lane, Suite 100,
Naperville, Illinois 60563, 630.428.4433 www.hitchcockplanroom.com. Bidding documents are available
at the non-refundable cost of reproduction.
Bids will be accepted at the Wauconda Park District, 600 Main Street, Wauconda, Illinois, 60084, during
regular office hours. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the Contractor’s name
and address, and “Bid for Osage Park,” on the face of the envelope. Bids must be received no later than
10:00 A.M. on February 27, 2024. Bids will be opened on February 27, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at the
Wauconda Park District, 600 Main Street, Wauconda, Illinois, 60084.
All bidders will be required to submit proof of Bid Security in the form of Bid Bond, Certified Check, or
Cashier’s Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Wauconda Park District. The
successful bidder, as determined by the Wauconda Park District, shall be required to pay, and to agree to
pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages for the locality of the Wauconda Park District, to each
laborer worker or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let.
The Wauconda Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all
proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be
withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the
Wauconda Park District. The Wauconda Park District encourages minority business firms to submit bids
on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for
supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
