CARDINAL DRIVE PARK INCLUSIVE PLAYGROUND
The Rolling Meadows Park District does hereby invite sealed bids for Fencing and Synthetic Turf Surfacing
for the Cardinal Drive Park Inclusive Playground. Work will include chain link fencing and gates,
wood fencing and synthetic turf play surfacing.
Project manuals, including bid form and specifications, and construction documents are available after
10:00 A.M. on March 15, 2021 from Accurate Reprographics 2368 Corporate Lane, Suite 100, Naperville,
Illinois 60563, 630.428.4433 www.hitchcockplanroom.com. Bidding documents are available at
the non-refundable cost of reproduction.
Bids will be accepted at the Rolling Meadows Park District, 3000 Central Road, Rolling Meadows, Illinois
60008, during regular office hours. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the
Contractor’s name and address, and “Cardinal Drive Park Inclusive Playground Fencing or Synthetic Turf
Play Surfacing” on the face of the envelope. Bids must be received no later than April 1, 2021, 1:00 PM.
Bids will be opened on April 1, 2021, at 1:00 PM at the Rolling Meadows Park District, 3000 Central
Road, Rolling Meadows, Illinois 60008. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form
of a Bid Bond per the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Rolling Meadows Park District.
The successful bidder, as determined by the Rolling Meadows Park District, shall be required to pay, and
to agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act
(820 ILCS 130) for the locality of the Rolling Meadows Park District (Cook County), to each laborer
worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The successful
contractor and all subcontractors shall be required to submit, to the Rolling Meadows Park District,
certified payrolls no later than the tenth day of each calendar month for the immediately preceding
month.
The Rolling Meadows Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all
proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be
withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Rolling
Meadows Park District. The Rolling Meadows Park District encourages minority business firms to
submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors
