NEDSRA Entry Plaza
The Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association does hereby invite sealed bids for the NEDSRA
Entry Plaza project. Work will include site clearing, earthwork operations, concrete curbs, walks and
paving, concrete footings, planting, and drainage.
Project manuals, including bid form and specifications, and construction documents are available after
10:00 AM on October 27, 2023, from Accurate Reprographics, 2368 Corporate Lane, Suite 100, Naperville,
Illinois 60563 630.428.4433, www.hitchcockplanroom.com. A non-refundable fee at the cost of reproduction
will be charged for each requested bid package.
Bids will be accepted at Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association, 1770 West Centennial Place,
Addison, Illinois 60101, during regular office hours. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope
marked with the Contractor’s name and address, and “Bid for NEDSRA ENTRY PLAZA,” on the face of
the envelope. Bids must be received no later than 10:00 AM on November 10, 2023. Bids will be opened
on 10:00 AM on November 10, 2023 at Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association, 1770 West
Centennial Place, Addison, Illinois 60101. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form
of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier’s Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the
Northeast DuPage Recreation Association.
The successful bidder, as determined by the Northeast DuPage Recreation Association, shall be required
to pay, and to agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing
Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) for the locality of the Northeast DuPage Recreation Association (DuPage
County), to each laborer worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract
to be let. The successful contractor, and all subcontractors shall be required to submit, to the Northeast
DuPage Special Recreation Association, certified payrolls no later than the tenth day of each calendar
month for the immediately preceding month.

The Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association reserves the right to reject any and all proposals,
parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted
bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written
consent of the Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association. The Northeast DuPage Special Recreation
Association encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract
bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
