Lake Manor Nature Preserve Improvements

The Addison Park District does hereby invite sealed bids for Lake Manor Nature Preserve Improvements.
Work will include site clearing, earthwork operations, asphalt paving, concrete curbs, walks and paving,
site furnishings, signage, playfield equipment, planting and seeding, stone masonry, wood carpentry, and
subdrainage.
Project manuals, including bid form and specifications, and construction documents are available after
10:00 AM on April 24, 2023 from Accurate Reprographics 2368 Corporate Lane, Suite 100, Naperville,
Illinois 60563, 630.428.4433 www.hitchcockplanroom.com. Bidding documents are available to download
and print at the non-refundable cost of reproduction.
Bids will be accepted at the Addison Park District 120 East Oak Street, Addison, Illinois 60101, during
regular office hours. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the Contractor’s name
and address, and “Bid for Lake Manor Nature Preserve Improvements,” on the face of the envelope. Bids
must be received no later than 10:01 AM on May 15, 2023. Bids will be opened at 10:01 AM on May 15,
2023 at the Addison Park District offices, 120 East Oak Street, Addison, Illinois 60101. All bidders will
be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier’s Check in the
amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Addison Park District.
The successful bidder, as determined by the Addison Park District, shall be required to pay, and to agree
to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS
130) for the locality of the Addison Park District (DuPage County), to each laborer worker, or mechanic
needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The successful contractor, and
all subcontractors shall be required to submit, to the Addison Park District, certified payrolls no later than
the tenth day of each calendar month for the immediately preceding month.
The Addison Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals,
or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Addison Park
District. The Addison Park District encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and
the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment,
services, and construction.
