Four Seasons Park Phase 2

The Lombard Park District does hereby invite sealed bids for Four Seasons Park Phase 2. Work will include earthwork operations, asphalt paving, concrete paving, curbs and footings, play equip-ment installation, play surfacing, storm sewer, underdrainage, landscape planting, and turf grass seeding.

Project manuals, including bid form and specifications, and construction documents are available after 11:00 A.M. on March 3, 2023 from Accurate Reprographics 2368 Corporate Lane, Suite 100, Naperville, Illinois 60563 630.428.4433 www.hitchcockplanroom.com. Bidding documents are available at the non-refundable cost of reproduction.

Bids must be submitted digitally through the plan room (www.hitchcockplanroom.com marked with the Contractor’s name and address, and “Lombard Park District, Four Seasons Park Phase 2.” Bids must be received no later than 10:00 AM on March 22, 2023. Bids will be opened on March 22, 2023 at 10:00 AM (through an online meeting, additional information to be provided). Bid results will be distributed to the plan holders after opening.

All bidders will be required to submit proof of Bid Security in the form of scans of Bid Bond, Cer-tified Check, or Cashier’s Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Lombard Park District. No proposals or bids will be considered unless accompanied by such bond or check. The successful bidder, as determined by the Lombard Park District, shall be required to pay, and to agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages for the locality of the Lombard Park District, to each laborer worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let.

The Lombard Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Lombard Park District. The Lombard Park District encourages minority business firms to sub-mit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction. This project is being financed, in part, with funds from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources,
“Open Space Land Acquisition and Development” (OSLAD) program. Work must comply with grant
