North Park Entry Walkway

The Park District of Franklin Park does hereby invite sealed bids for North Park Entry Walkway. Work
will include earthwork operations, asphalt paving, concrete curbs and paving, fences, and planting and
turf.
Project manuals, including bid form and specifications, and construction documents are available after
11:00 A.M. on October 27, 2022 from Accurate Reprographics 2368 Corporate Lane, Suite 100, Naperville,
Illinois 60563 630.428.4433 www.hitchcockplanroom.com. Bidding documents are available at the
non-refundable cost of reproduction.
Bid submissions will be accepted at the Park District of Franklin Park, 9560 Franklin Avenue, Franklin
Park, Illinois 60131. Bids must be received no later than November 17, 2022, 10:00 A.M. Bids will be
opened on November 17, 2022, 10:00 A.M. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the
form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier’s Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to
the Park District of Franklin Park.
The successful bidder, as determined by the Park District of Franklin Park, shall be required to pay, and to
agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages for the locality of the Park District of Franklin
Park, to each laborer worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract
to be let.
The Park District of Franklin Park reserves the right to reject any and all bids, parts of any and all bids, or
to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted bids. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period
of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Park District of Franklin
Park. The Park District of Franklin Park encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project
and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies,
