TAM O’SHANTER GOLF ENTRY
The Niles Park District does hereby invite sealed bids for TAM O’SHANTER GOLF ENTRY. Work will
include site clearing, earthwork, cast in place concrete, concrete paving, masonry, subdrainage, and planting
and seeding.
Project manuals, including bid form and specifications, and construction documents are available after
1:00 PM on June 27, 2022 from Accurate Reprographics, https://www.hitchcockplanroom.com/, 2368
Corporate Lane, Suite 100, Naperville, Illinois 60563, phone 630-428-4433 for the cost of reproduction.
Bids will be accepted at the Niles Park District, 6676 Howard Street, Niles, Illinois 60714, during regular
office hours. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the Contractor’s name and
address, and “Bid for TAM O’SHANTER GOLF ENTRY,” on the face of the envelope. Bids must be
received no later than 1:00 PM July 12, 2022. Bids will be opened at 1:01 PM, July 12, 2022 at the Niles
Park District, 6676 Howard Street, Niles, Illinois 60714.
All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier’s
Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Niles Park District. The bid results will be
tabulated, and a copy of the results will be emailed to each bidder that submitted a bid.
The successful bidder, as determined by the Niles Park District, shall be required to pay, and to agree to
pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS
130) for the locality of the Niles Park District, (Cook County), to each laborer worker, or mechanic
needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The successful contractor, and
all subcontractors shall be required to submit, to the Niles Park District, certified payrolls no later than the
tenth day of each calendar month for the immediately preceding month. This contract to be awarded is
subject to the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act, 30 ILCS 570/1 et. seq., and the
successful bidder shall comply with the requirements of such Act regarding the employment of Illinois
laborers to perform work on the Project.
The Niles Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or
to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until
a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Niles Park District.
The Niles Park District encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the
successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment,
services, and construction.
