Hickory Hill Park
The Dundee Township Park District does hereby invite sealed bids for Hickory Hill Park. Work will
include clearing and grubbing, removals, earthwork operations, drainage, asphalt paving, concrete curbs
and paving, site furnishings, playfield equipment, picnic shelter, artificial turf play surfacing, seeding,
planting, and subdrainage.
Project manuals, including bid form and specifications, and construction documents are available after
10:00 A.M. on July 14, 2021, from Accurate Reprographics 2368 Corporate Lane, Suite 100, Naperville,
Illinois 60563, 630.428.4433 www.hitchcockplanroom.com. Bidding documents are available to
download and print at the non-refundable cost of reproduction.
Bids will be accepted at the Dundee Township Park District, 665 Barrington Avenue, Carpentersville,
Illinois 60110 during regular office hours. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with
the Contractor’s name and address, and “Bid for Hickory Hill Park,” on the face of the envelope. Bids
must be received no later than July 29, 2021, 1:00 PM. Bids will be opened on July 29, 2021, 1:01 PM at
the Dundee Township Park District, 665 Barrington Avenue, Carpentersville, Illinois 60110. All bidders
will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid,
payable to the Dundee Township Park District.
The successful bidder, as determined by the Dundee Township Park District, shall be required to pay, and
to agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act
(820 ILCS 130) for the locality of the Dundee Township Park District (Kane County), to each laborer
worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The
successful contractor, and all subcontractors shall be required to submit, to the Dundee Township Park
District, certified payrolls no later than the tenth day of each calendar month for the immediately
preceding month.
The Dundee Township Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all
proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the
Dundee Township Park District. The Dundee Township Park District encourages minority business firms
to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors
for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
