Riverwalk Park Phase One

Work will include site
clearing, earthwork operations, concrete paving, asphalt paving, utilities, an open-air shelter, fitness stations,
site furnishings, planting, and seeding.
Project manuals, including bid form and specifications, and construction documents are available after 10:00
A.M. on June 30, 2020 from Accurate Reprographics, www.hitchcockplanroom.com, 2368 Corporate Lane,
Suite 100, Naperville, Illinois 60563, phone (630) 428-4433 for the non-refundable cost of reproduction.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:30 pm on July 7, 2020 at Village Hall, with a site tour to
follow, if needed. Attendees are required to wear facemasks and have their temperatures checked prior to
entry. Interested bidders are asked to RSVP with the Village of Winfield, by end of day July 6, so expected
attendance can be determined.
Bids will be accepted at the Village of Winfield, 27 W 465 Jewell Road, Winfield, Illinois 60190, during
regular office hours. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the Contractor’s name and
address, and “Riverwalk Park Phase One,” on the face of the envelope. Bids must be received no later than
9:00 am on July 14, 2020. Bidders attending the opening will be required to wear facemasks and have their
temperatures checked prior to entry. Bids will be opened at 9:01 am on July 14, 2020 at Village Hall. All
bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier’s Check
in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Village of Winfield.
The Village of Winfield reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to
waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period
of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Village of Winfield. The Village
of Winfield encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract
bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
