Exploration Station Play Space

Work will include site clearing, earthwork operations, subdrainage, concrete curbs and paving,
stone masonry and play equipment installation.

Bids will be accepted at the Bourbonnais Township Park District, BTPD Exploration Station,
459 N. Kennedy Drive, Bourbonnais, Illinois 60914, during regular office hours. All bids must be submitted
in a sealed envelope marked with the Contractor’s name and address, and “Bid for Exploration
Station Play Space,” on the face of the envelope.

All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier’s Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Bourbonnais Township Park District.

The Bourbonnais Township Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any
and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may
be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the
Bourbonnais Township Park District. The Bourbonnais Township Park District encourages minority
business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses
as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.

The Contractor and Subcontractor shall comply with all regulations issued pursuant to Prevailing Wage
Act (820 ILCS 130), and other applicable Federal Laws and regulations pertaining to labor standards.
The Bourbonnais Township Park District reserves the rights to determine the lowest, responsive, responsible
bidder, to waive irregularities, and to reject any or all bid proposals.
