Laramie Park/Alsip Park District

Work will include removals, earthwork, concrete curbs, concrete paving, asphalt paving, pre-cast block walls, shelter installation, play equipment installation, spray pad equipment installation, artificial turf play surfacing, planting and seeding, electrical, fencing, and sub drainage.

The successful bidder, as determined by the Alsip Park District, shall be required to pay, and to agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS130) for the locality of the Alsip Park District (Cook County), to each laborer worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The successful contractor and all subcontractors shall be required to submit, to the Alsip Park District, certified payrolls no later than the tenth day of each calendar month for the immediately preceding month.

The Alsip Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Alsip Park District. The Alsip Park District encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.

“Open Space Land Acquisition and Development” (OSLAD) program.
