The Village of Hazel Crest does hereby invite sealed bids for 175th Street Park Phase I. Work will include
site clearing, earthwork operations, storm sewerage, asphalt paving, concrete curbs, walks and paving,
site furnishings, fitness equipment, and planting and seeding.
Project manuals, including bid form and specifications, and construction documents are available after
10:00AM on February 9, 2021 from Accurate Reprographics, https://www.hitchcockplanroom.com/,
2368 Corporate Lane, Suite 100, Naperville, Illinois 60563, phone 630-428-4433 for the cost of
reproduction. Refer to Section 000100 “Invitation to Bid” for information regarding the pre-bid meeting.
Sealed digital bid submissions will be accepted at https://www.hitchcockplanroom.com/ All bids must be
received no later than 10:00 AM, March 2, 2021. Bids will be opened at 10:01 AM, March 2, 2021 via
online meeting and bid results will be distributed following the opening the plan holder’s request. The bid

9735, call in number: +1-312-626-6799. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of
a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier’s Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Village
of Hazel Crest.
The successful bidder, as determined by the Village of Hazel Crest, shall be required to pay, and to agree
to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS
130) for the locality of the Village of Hazel Crest (Cook County), to each laborer worker, or mechanic
needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The successful contractor, and
all subcontractors shall be required to submit, to the Village of Hazel Crest, certified payrolls no later than
the tenth day of each calendar month for the immediately preceding month.
The Village of Hazel Crest reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals,
or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn
until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Village of Hazel Crest. The Village of Hazel Crest encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project
and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies,
equipment, services, and construction.
