Work will include site clearing, earthwork operations, asphalt paving, concrete curbs, walks and paving, site furnishings, playfield equipment, planting and seeding, stone masonry, architectural construction, and lighting installation.

Bids will be accepted at the Streamwood Park District, 777 S. Bartlett Road, Streamwood, Illinois 60107,
during regular office hours. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the Contractor’s
name and address, and “Bid for Commissioners’ Park” on the face of the envelope. All bidders will be required
to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier’s Check in the amount of 10%
of the Base Bid, payable to the Streamwood Park District.

The successful bidder, as determined by the Streamwood Park District, shall be required to pay, and to
agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820
ILCS 130) for the locality of the Streamwood Park District (Cook County), to each laborer worker, or
mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The successful
contractor, and all subcontractors shall be required to submit, to the Streamwood Park District, certified
payrolls no later than the fifth day of each calendar month for the immediately preceding month.

The Streamwood Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all
proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Streamwood Park District. The Streamwood Park District encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
